Reverse Raffle

The LOOM is having a Reverse Raffle on Saturday, March 23rd. Dinner will start at 6:00 p.m.Cost of tickets is $30 which includes one meal. If you purchase a ticket and want an additional meal it will be $5.00. For those that did not purchase a tickets the price will be as follows: Rocky Mountain Oysters for $7.00 and Chicken Strips for $6.00.

Kyle Ritchie has been chosen to be our new Sunshine Child. He is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. This is a great opportunity for all of us to make a huge difference in the life of a young man.

Greeting Fellow Moose Members:

I like to thank the many members that continue to show their support for this Lodge by the various functions that we have going on. In this Moose Call there is an article asking you as members to feel free to give the officers, Sue and Gene any insight on what you, as members, wnat to have as functions. We have been very blessed this year to have not gone into the red this summer and have to claw our way back out, this was only accomplished by you as members supporting the Lodge. We still have a lot of good things going for us that will extend past my one year as governor. We will be hosting the 9News Health fair this year in March and hopefully this will grow into a yearly deal for us to give back to the communities that support us. We have the Boy Scout meetings once again back into our Lodge. The Latino Chamber of Commerce are conducting their meetings here and we are a home to the Young Marines Corp. We have hosted various fundraisers for a lot of worthy organizations. All of this was accomplished. I feel that we are finally showing the community that we are not just a group of people that just drink but we are a very strong organization that is once again focusing in on being a leader in the community. My hat goes off to you.
In march, we will continue to have all the functions that we normally have going on in the month. At the statae level we will have Mid-Year convention at the Grand Junction Lodge. Ouor Lodge will be open for Easter Brunch on March 31. We will also have a Kid's Easter Egg Hunt that morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. We may also be honored to have the Supreme Governor drop by to have breakfast before he catches his flight home.
As of this letter we will need a Junior Governor, Prelate, Treasurer, and a Trustee fo next year's board. If you are interested in any of these positions, feel free to talke to me or anybody on the nominating committee.
